SCENTRE GROUP APPOINTS CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

Scentre Group (ASX: SCG) today announced that Mr Andrew Clarke will become the Group's Chief Financial Officer (CFO) effective 1 October 2022.

Today's announcement follows the announcement of Elliott Rusanow's appointment as Chief Executive Officer, effective 1 October 2022.

Mr Clarke is currently the Group's Director of Finance and Capital Markets.

CEO-Elect Elliott Rusanow said "Andrew has extensive finance experience together with a deep understanding of Scentre Group's business that has been built over a 17-year career with Scentre Group and Westfield Group.

"Andrew will play a key role in the delivery of our strategic goals."

Biography - Andrew Clarke

Andrew has over 20 years' experience, including working across finance, real estate and capital markets in Australia, the United Kingdom, Europe and New Zealand.

During a 17-year period at Westfield Group and Scentre Group, he has held a number of senior corporate roles. He is currently responsible for the Group's finance, group planning, treasury, investor relations, corporate development and capital transactions, commercial retail management, energy and renewables functions.

Andrew is the co-executive leader of the Group's Responsible Business (ESG) strategy and the Chair of the Group's Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Council.

Andrew joined Westfield in 2005, working across all areas of the Australia and New Zealand business. In 2012, Andrew was appointed to the role of Chief Financial Officer for Westfield Australia and New Zealand.

Following the establishment of Scentre Group, Andrew has performed a number of senior executive leadership roles.

He has been a leader in a number of capital transactions during his career with Scentre Group and Westfield, these include the $1.5 billion sale of the Sydney Office towers, the joint venture partnership with GIC for the NZ$2.1 billion New Zealand portfolio, the restructure of $1.8 billion of Property Linked Notes and the divestment of four shopping centre assets for $780 million.

Andrew has a Bachelor of Commerce (University of Victoria, New Zealand) and is a Chartered Accountant (Australia and New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountant).
