Carpetright plc Appoints Andrew Page as Independent Non-Executive Director, Effective July 1, 2013

Carpetright plc announced that Andrew Page has been appointed to the board as an independent non-executive director, with effect from July 1, 2013. Andrew Page is the Chief Executive Officer of The Restaurant Group plc. Prior to joining The Restaurant Group plc, he held a number of senior positions in the leisure and hospitality industry including Senior Vice President with InterContinental Hotels and Finance Director of Hanover International plc.

The Company trades from approximately 440 stores and concessions in the United Kingdom, as well as over 140 stores across Holland, Belgium and the Republic of Ireland.
