Casio Computer Co., Ltd. announced that the meeting of its board of directors on May 11, 2023 resolved to purchase treasury shares based on the provisions of Article 156 of Japan's Companies Act, which is applicable pursuant to Paragraph 3, Article 165 of the Act, and to retire the treasury shares based on the provisions of Article 178 of the Act. The details are as follows.

Casio will purchase and retire the treasury shares under a flexible capital policy of enhancing shareholder returns, improving capital efficiency, and responding to the business environment.
