FRANKFURT (dpa-AFX Broker) - The shares of Ceconomy fell back to their previous week's low on Monday after the presentation of business figures. The shares of the electronics retailer had lost almost ten percent before recently recovering somewhat. The consumer environment remains very difficult and the outlook for the new financial year is correspondingly vague, commented one market participant. Profitability remains a problem.

Analyst Volker Bosse from Baader Bank, who is also fundamentally skeptical about Ceconomy, called the business outlook solid. Although there were no concrete signals regarding the most recent business, including Cyberweek, he assumes that the months of November and December were at least okay, measured against the annual outlook./ag/mis
