TORONTO (AP) _ Celestica Inc. (CLS) on Wednesday reported first-quarter profit of $21.8 million.

The Toronto-based company said it had net income of 17 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs, came to 39 cents per share.

The electronics manufacturing services company posted revenue of $1.57 billion in the period.

For the current quarter ending in July, Celestica expects its per-share earnings to range from 38 cents to 44 cents.

The company said it expects revenue in the range of $1.58 billion to $1.73 billion for the fiscal second quarter.
