PJSC TransContainer (part of Delo Group) and JSC Slavtrans-Service are going to render comprehensive transport and logistics services to the Russian exporters of agricultural products and ready-to-eat foods delivered in containers by railway from Russia to China and other countries of the Asia-Pacific Region (APAC).

The corresponding commitments are stated in the cooperation agreement signed by Alexander Podylov, Vice-President for Commerce of PJSC TransContainer, and Andrey Gollandtsev, Chairman of the Board of Directors of JSC Slavtrans-Service, on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum 2023.

Within the frameworks of the preliminary study of cooperation areas JSC Slavtrans-Service is ready to provide information on the monthly volumes of shipments in containers, as well as on the geography and names of the products planned for transportation (including their weight and dimensions and packaging).

In its turn, PJSC TransContainer will develop the most efficient and mutually beneficial transport and logistics solutions for the project. In case of its launch, JSC Slavtrans-Service will be provided with containers and flatcars within the approved volume.

The agreement is concluded until 2026, and it can be extended.

"The signed document defines export shipments speeding up as well as increasing the safety of products with a limited shelf life as the main priority. This is extremely important for the Russian agricultural and food exports volume gain," noted Alexander Podylov.
