David Stogel appointed as Deputy General Director of TV Nova October 14, 2013, Prague, The Czech Republic

CET 21 today announced that David Stogel has been appointed as Deputy General Director of TV Nova. Jan Andrusko has decided to step-down as General Director at the end of the month.

"I welcome David back to the Nova Group and am looking forward to working together with him to further strengthen the market leadership of the CME operations in the Czech Republic," said Christoph Mainusch, co-CEO at CME. "David has excellent knowledge of, and experience with, TV in the Czech media market. I would like to thank Jan for his very valuable efforts and service to the company and I wish him well in his future endeavors.

" Mr. Stogel commented: "I am very excited to re-join TV Nova and look forward to working with Christoph and the management team. Having been with CME and TV Nova for many years, it's a sort of homecoming for me, and I appreciate the opportunity to once again work for such a great company.

" Mr. Stogel has over 20 years of television broadcasting experience in Central and Eastern Europe. He was the Programming Director at TV Nova from 2005 until 2011. Prior to that, Mr. Stogel was co-General Director of TV2 in Hungary, and worked for SBS Broadcasting responsible for their broadcast investments in Central and Eastern Europe. Mr. Stogel also previously worked on various development projects for CME in the Czech Republic, Poland, Germany and Romania. As one of the first employees of CME in 1993, he helped successfully launch TV Nova in 1994 and Pro TV in Romania in 1995.
