Matthias Settele appointed as General Director of TV Markiza September 25, 2013, Hamilton, Bermuda

Central European Media Enterprises Ltd. ("CME" or the "Company") (NASDAQ/Prague Stock Exchange: CETV) today announced that Matthias Settele will succeed Zuzana Tapakova as General Director of TV Markiza in the Slovak Republic.

Before joining CME, Mr. Settele was the General Manager for Turner Nordic and Baltic and a senior consultant for Austria's public television channel ORF. Prior to this, he was a TV program and production consultant supporting international TV groups including the RTL group, MTG/Viasat and Turner Broadcasting International as well as TV channels, production houses and universities across Europe.  Before consulting, Mr. Settele worked as SVP Business Affairs for RTL in Germany.
