Zhongyuan Environment-Protection Co., Ltd. (SZSE:000544) agreed to acquire 55% stake in Henan Wujian Urban and Rural Construction and Development Co., Ltd. from Henan Fifth Construction Group Corporation for CNY 55 million on December 4, 2017. Zhongyuan Environment-Protection Co., Ltd. will pay the consideration amount in cash. Upon completion, Zhongyuan Environment-Protection Co., Ltd. will hold 55% stake and Henan Fifth Construction Group Corporation wil hold 45% stake in Henan Wujian Urban and Rural Construction and Development Co., Ltd. The board of Zhongyuan Environment-Protection Co., Ltd. approved the transaction in its 8th directorate’s 8th meeting. The transaction does not need approval from the shareholders of Zhongyuan Environment-Protection Co., Ltd.
Central Plains Environment Protection Co Ltd., is a China-based company mainly engaged in sewage treatment businesses. The Company's wastewater treatment business mainly includes operating sewage treatment plants, as well as research and development of sewage treatment systems. The heating sales business mainly conducts central heating through heating companies.
