Challenger Exploration Limited announced that it has recommenced field work at its adjoining El Guayabo and Colorado V concessions in Ecuador following the approval of its Workplace Covid-19 Protocols for the overall project by the Ecuadorian authorities. Field operations have safely re-started in Ecuador with a focus on logging and submitting the core from the remaining 55 historical drill holes at the Colorado V concession for assay. Core from a further 3 historical holes from the Colorado V concession was submitted for assay yesterday, 2 June. A selection of historical core from the El Guayabo concession was re-assayed to better vector porphyry targets and validate the historical data from the El Guayabo tenement. Results from re-assaying of available sections from this historical drill core confirm the tenor of the broad zones of historical mineralisation at the El Guayabo concession, including intercepts of; 62 meters at 5.2 g/t gold, 21.3g/t silver and 0.25% copper from 40 meters, and 57 meters at 1.2 g/t gold and 3.4 g/t silver and 0.18% copper from 114 meters available samples from drill hole GGY-02 within a broader historical intercept of 156 metres at 2.6 g/t gold, 9.7 g/t silver and 0.16% copper from 76 meters and 42.7 metres at 2.1 g/t gold, 2.8 g/t silver and 0.05% copper from 112 metres available samples from drill hole GGY-02 within a broader historical intercept of 65 metres at 1.4 g/t gold, 2.8 g/t silver and 0.06% copper from 89 metres.
