Chilwa Minerals Limited is an Australia-based mineral exploration company. The Company has an interest in the Chilwa Project, which is located on the shores of Lake Chilwa in Malawi. The Chilwa Project is located on two separate exploration licenses (EL), which include EL 0671/22 (Chilwa Island), which covers an area of approximately 12.84 square kilometers, and EL 0670/22 (Lake Chilwa), which covers an area of 865.56 square kilometers. The Chilwa Project contains four prospects, including Halala/Namanja, Mposa, Bimbi and Mpyupy. Halala/Namanja prospect is to the north of Lake Chilwa, which is incised by several rivers and has an east-west strike of 20 kilometers. Mposa prospect is located on the western shore of Lake Chilwa and is approximately six kilometers long and 300 meters wide. Bimbi prospect is located on the southwest shore of Lake Chilwa. Mpyupyu prospect is situated to the south of Bimbi and consists of three separate mineralized zones.
