China Nonferrous Mining Corporation Limited provided unaudited consolidated earnings guidance for the four months ended April 30, 2017. The revenue of the company for the four months is expected to increase by approximately 33% as compared to the corresponding period in 2016, and the profit attributable to owners of the company is expected to increase substantially to approximately USD 30 million, representing an increase of approximately USD 29 million as compared to the corresponding period in 2016. The board considers that the anticipated increase in the revenue of the Group and the profit attributable to owners of the company for the four months ended 30 April 2017 is mainly attributable to: an increase in production of principal products including blister copper, copper cathodes and sulphuric acid by approximately 6%, 24% and 19%, respectively; an increase in sales of principal products including blister copper, copper cathodes and sulphuric acid by approximately 7%, 17% and 37%, respectively; a year-on-year increase in the average London Metal Exchange (LME) copper price by approximately 20% in January to April 2017 to USD 5,451 per tonne.
