COLLECTION OF QUESTIONS FOR 2020 INTERIM RESULTS

PRESENTATION

This is a voluntary announcement made by the board of directors (the "Board") of China Pacific Insurance (Group) Co., Ltd. (the "Company").

The Company proposes to disclose its 2020 interim results on the website of the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited (www.hkexnews.hk) on 23 August 2020, and convene 2020 interim results presentation on 24 August 2020.

In order to actively protect retail investors, the Company is now collecting relevant questions from investors regarding its 2020 interim results presentation in advance, and widely soliciting their opinions and suggestions.

Investors may put forward relevant questions by sending emails to the mailbox of the Investor Relations Department of the Company: ir@cpic.com.cn by 23:59 p.m. (Beijing time) on 21 August 2020, and questions of their common concerns will be answered by the Company at the 2020 interim results presentation. Investors may visit the "Investor Relations" section on the Company's website (www.cpic.com.cn) on 24 August 2020 to watch the live stream of the 2020 interim results presentation.
