China Railway Group Ltd.'s net profit in the first-half rose slightly as the company steadily resumed work and production.

Net profit rose to 11.70 billion yuan ($1.70 billion) compared with CNY10.51 billion in the same period a year earlier, it said late Friday.

Total revenue increased to CNY416.30 billion from CNY361.89 billion a year earlier.

The group will continue to construct a project management-oriented system in the second half, it said.
