Recently, Shendong Coal launched an emulsion concentration monitoring system based on its production control platform, boasting reliable data and stable operation, and giving shape to new idea and new concept of intelligent equipment management.

Real-time emulsion concentration monitoring and alarm for 29 longwall mining faces in 14 mines of 13 pits of Shendong Coal Group are intensively displayed in this System, while current status, concentration trend and historical alarm information can be viewed. In addition, alarm thresholds can also be flexibly adjusted when necessary. This System achieves digital monitoring and efficient control of emulsion concentration in a true sense, escorting reliable equipment operation.

"Thanks to this System, failure rate of hydraulic equipment in various mines, caused by insufficient emulsion concentration, has sharply declined. Furthermore, it enables electromechanical management personnel to make cross-system inspection, which has greatly improved their work efficiency", says He Yingbo from Equipment Management Center.
