This announcement is made by Classified Group (Holdings) Limited (the "Company", together with its subsidiaries, the "Group") pursuant to Rule 17.10 of the Rules Governing the Listing of Securities on the Growth Enterprise Market ("GEM") of The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited (the "GEM Listing Rules") and the Inside Information Provisions (as defined under GEM Listing Rules) under Part XIVA of the Securities and Futures Ordinance (Chapter 571 of the Laws of Hong Kong).

After preliminary review by the Company's management of the unaudited management accounts of the Group and assessment of the information currently available, the board of directors (the "Board") of the Company wishes to inform the shareholders of the Company (the "Shareholders") and potential investors that the Group is expected to record a loss after tax of not exceeding HK$22.0 million for the six months ended 30 June 2017 (the "Period") compared with a loss after tax of approximately HK$4.4 million recorded by the Group for the six months ended 30 June 2016. The Group's loss-making position for the Period was mainly attributable to i) the decrease in revenue from existing restaurants as affected by the sluggish economy and ii) impairment loss as a result of the proposal regarding early termination of lease and operation for "The Fat Pig" restaurant.

As the Company is still in the process of finalising the unaudited consolidated results of the Group for the six months ended 30 June 2017, the information contained in this announcement is only a preliminary assessment by the Board based on the latest information currently available, and is not based on any data or information which is finalised or reviewed by the audit committee of the Company. Actual financial results may be different from what is disclosed in this announcement.
