DIVIDEND DECLARATION

Declaration

Shareholders of the Company are advised that, at the meeting of the Board of Directors held on Tue 21 May 2024, a dividend of 80 thebe per share (net of Withholding Tax) was declared. The dividend has been declared out of retained earnings.

The salient dates of the dividend are as follows:

Cheque Discontinuation

As previously communicated, in our notice dated 26 March 2024, shareholders are reminded again to update their information, especially banking details, held at the Central Securities Depository Botswana ("CSDB") as soon as possible. A joint decision was taken by the Bank of Botswana and Bankers' Association of Botswana to discontinue cheques in Botswana with banks ceasing to accept cheques for clearing purposes on 1 January 2024. Chobe Holdings Limited ("Chobe") will thus not be able to pay dividends by cheque in the future with all payments to be made by Electronic Fund Transfers ("EFTs").
