We concluded a cooperation agreement (hereinafter the "Agreement") with Taiwan's public power company, Taiwan Power Company (hereinafter "Taipower"), in the energy field with a focus on decarbonization on March 19, 2024.
We concluded our first cooperation agreement with Taipower in 1985, and since then we have deepened our relationship by exchanging opinions regarding the power business and conducting mutual visits.
In addition to the contents of the previous agreements, the Agreement will focus on decarbonization.
From now on, we will continue to strengthen mutual exchanges with Taipower so that we can contribute to the promotion of decarbonization efforts of both companies on our Zero Emissions Challenge and CCUS (Note) initiatives, as well as efforts to realize the "Taiwan's Pathway to Net-Zero Emissions in 2050".
We will continue to work towards realizing Chubu Electric Power Group Management Vision 2.0 by actively developing our global business.
