Chuo Warehouse Co.,Ltd. (TSE:9319) agreed to acquire Tespac Co.,Ltd. from Teiji Takagi and other individual shareholder on January 19, 2023. In this transaction, Teiji Takagi will sell his 66% stake which is 132 shares and one other individual shareholder will sell his 34% stake which is 68 shares. Tespac Co.,Ltd. has reported total assets of ¥720 million and net assets of ¥262 million. The board of Chuo Warehouse has resolved the deal on January 19, 2023. The transaction is expected to close on January 26, 2023.

Chuo Warehouse Co., Ltd. is mainly involved in the warehousing, transportation and international freight handling businesses. The Company operates in three business segments. The Warehouse segment involves in the issuance of warehouse securities, the operation of bonded warehouses, trunk rooms, fixed temperature and humidity warehouses and hazardous goods warehouses, and the provision of distribution and processing services, such as goods selection, inspection, needle checking, assortment, bag filling, tagging, packaging and packing, as well as the leasing of warehouses, offices and lands. The Transportation segment is engaged in the truck transportation and railway transportation operations, and the provision of insurance agency services. The International Cargo Handling segment involves in the packing of precision machinery for export, the processing and sale of cardboards, the provision of customs clearance services, and the operation of international intermodal transport business.
