• Coca-Cola FEMSA delivers valuable goods to the affected communities by hurricane Otis at the State of Guerrero.
  • With the support of its water treatment vehicles, it expects to deliver up to 48,000lts of purified water per vehicle every day.
  • Groceries and hygiene kits will be distributed to the community and collaborators.
  • More than 126,000lts of bottled water will be distributed to the most affected communities.

Coca-Cola FEMSA reinforces its commitment to generate economic, social, and environmental value in the communities where it operates, and together with the Coca-Cola Mexican Industry, as well as municipal, estate, and federal authorities, has deployed a series of actions to support its collaborators and the affected families that were hit by Hurricane Otis at the State of Guerrero.

Thanks to the work of 150 collaborators, groceries and hygiene kits will be delivered, as well as more than 126,000lts of bottled water to Guerrero's most affected communities.

In parallel, and in coordination with municipal authorities and the National Guard, two "VenXAgua" water treatment vehicles were activated, which can process up to 48,000lts of water each daily.

The vehicles are strategically located in areas where they can provide purified water to the most affected population, which has no access to this vital resource. It is expected that the water treatment vehicles will remain operating in the area for several weeks.

For its part, the Coca-Cola Foundation has invited the Coca-Cola Company's collaborators and their families to be a part of a fundraising campaign where they will add a Mexican peso for each donated with a goal to reach half a million. Likewise, in this first support phase, $270 thousand Mexican pesos will be donated for the delivery of hygiene kits to those affected.

With these actions, Coca-Cola FEMSA and the Coca-Cola Mexican Industry aim to contribute to the state's recovery from the impact of Hurricane Otis.
