Coca-Cola Içecek Anonim Sirketi reported earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended June 30, 2023. For the second quarter, the company reported sales was TRY 23,272.55 million compared to TRY 14,693.52 million a year ago. Net income was TRY 2,388.23 million compared to TRY 1,233.19 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TRY 9.389 compared to TRY 4.848 a year ago.
For the six months, sales was TRY 38,828.21 million compared to TRY 23,358.95 million a year ago. Net income was TRY 3,422.74 million compared to TRY 1,863.13 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TRY 13.456 compared to TRY 7.324 a year ago.
Coca-Cola Icecek AS (CCI) is a Turkey-based company engaged in the bottling and distribution of alcohol-free beverages in Turkey, Pakistan, Central Asia and the Middle East. The Company bottles and distributes a number of The Coca-Cola Company brands of soft drinks and beverages, including Coca-Cola, Coca-Cola Zero, Coca-Cola Light, Fanta, Sprite, Cappy, Sen Sun, Powerade, Burn and Gladiator. Also under the agreement signed with Schweppes Holdings Limited, the Company has the exclusive right in Turkey, Kazakhstan and Jordan to sell and distribute beverages under the Schweppes trademark. CCI operates production facilities in different regions of Turkey as well as abroad. CCI also holds interest in Turkmenistan Coca-Cola Bottlers Ltd., CC Beverage Limited, the Coca-Cola Beverages Pakistan Ltd. and Azerbaijan Coca-Cola Bottlers Limited in Azerbaijan, among other.
