The Board of Directors of the Cohen & Steers Total Return Realty Fund, Inc. declared a year-end capital gain distribution of $0.266 per unit. In addition to the regular monthly dividend, this year-end capital gain distribution is being paid to allow the Fund to meet its 2022 distribution requirement for federal excise tax purposes. Ex-date is December 27, 2022.
Record date is December 28, 2022. Payable date is January 9, 2023.
Cohen & Steers Total Return Realty Fund, Inc. is a diversified, closed-end management investment company. The Fund's investment objective is to achieve a high total return through investment in real estate securities. The Fund seeks both current income and capital appreciation (realized and unrealized) with approximately equal emphasis. Under normal circumstances, the Fund invests at least 75% of its total assets in the equity securities of real estate companies. The Fund's investments in securities of real estate companies may also include private real estate investments. The Fund may invest up to 20% of its total assets in preferred and other fixed income or debt securities issued by any type of company. The Fund may not invest more than 25% of its total assets in debt securities issued or guaranteed by real estate companies.
