Collins Co., Ltd. reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2023. For the third quarter, the company reported sales was TWD 2,009.8 million compared to TWD 2,186.35 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 29.9 million compared to TWD 50.42 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.15 compared to TWD 0.24 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.14 compared to TWD 0.24 a year ago.
For the nine months, sales was TWD 5,800.83 million compared to TWD 6,938.52 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 59.63 million compared to TWD 115.57 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.29 compared to TWD 0.55 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.28 compared to TWD 0.55 a year ago.
Collins Co Ltd is a Taiwan-based company mainly engaged in the export and import of groceries and clothes, and the sale of kidney dialysis medical equipment. The Company operates through four business segments. The Trading segment is engaged in the export of various kinds of groceries and garments, and the import and export of home furnishing flooring. Products are sold to large and medium-sized importers and distributors in the United States, Canada, other Americas, and Europe. The Kidney Dialysis segment is engaged in the purchase and sale of hemodialysis related consumables and sells them to hospitals, clinics and distributors. Fashion Life segment is engaged in the exclusive sales agency business of Hong Kong brand G2000, Korean brand Chatelaine, as well as the distribution business of casual wear. Other segment is engaged in the investment business and the sales of dental products and others.
