CLAREMONT, N.C. (AP) — CLAREMONT, N.C. (AP) — CommScope Holding Co. (COMM) on Thursday reported a loss of $525.1 million in its fourth quarter.

On a per-share basis, the Claremont, North Carolina-based company said it had a loss of $2.55. Losses, adjusted to account for discontinued operations and non-recurring costs, were 2 cents per share.

The results did not meet Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of eight analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 6 cents per share.

The wireless and broadband network technology company posted revenue of $1.19 billion in the period, which also did not meet Street forecasts. Seven analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $1.53 billion.

For the year, the company reported a loss of $1.45 billion, or $7.17 per share. Revenue was reported as $5.79 billion.
