Compañía Minera Autlán, S.A.B. de C.V. Announced earnings results for the fourth quarter ended December 31, 2020. For the fourth quarter, the company announced sales was USD 82.452 million compared to USD 91.036 million a year ago. Operating loss was USD 5.395 million compared to USD 4.554 million a year ago. Net loss was USD 19.435 million compared to USD 20.067 million a year ago. Basic loss per share was USD 0.05673 compared to USD 0.06012 a year ago. Diluted loss per share was USD 0.057 compared to USD 0.06 a year ago. For the full year, sales was USD 346.240 million compared to USD 420.128 million a year ago. Operating income was USD 10.125 million compared to USD 22.794 million a year ago. Net loss was USD 15.287 million compared to USD 12.193 million a year ago.
Compania Minera Autlan SAB de CV is a Mexico-based company primarily engaged in the mining, exploitation, production and sale of manganese ore and manganese ferroalloys. The Companyâs activities are divided into three divisions: Ferroalloys, Manganese and Energy. The Ferroalloys division is responsible for the manufacture of manganese ferroalloys for steel sector, including high, medium and low carbon ferromanganese, as well as silicomanganese, among others. The Manganese division focuses on manufacturing of manganese nodules, manganese carbonates, battery and ceramic grade natural manganese dioxides and manganous oxide. The Energy division generates energy through hydroelectric power plant. The Company operates through a number of subsidiaries, such as Autlan Metal Services SA de CV, which offers complementary products of the steel industry to its customers. The Company is owned by Autlan Holding SAPI de CV.
