Compeq Manufacturing Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2021. For the second quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 12,356.977 million compared to TWD 13,421.132 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 824.689 million compared to TWD 1,458.601 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 615.438 million compared to TWD 1,000.560 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.52 compared to TWD 0.84 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.51 compared to TWD 0.84 a year ago. For the half year, sales was TWD 25,764.679 million compared to TWD 25,510.796 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 2,096.076 million compared to TWD 2,718.973 million a year ago. Compeq Manufacturing Co Ltd is a Taiwan-based company mainly engaged in the manufacture and sale of printed circuit boards (PCBs). The Company is engaged in the provision of regular multi-layered PCBs, high density interconnection (HDI) PCBs, high layer count (HLC) PCBs, flexible PCBs and rigid-flex PCBs. The smart phone PCBs are used in communication related handheld devices such as smart phones. The communication and network PCBs are used in communication and network related equipment such as routers, hubs, switches and base stations. The computer PCBs are used in servers, workstations, laptops, tablet computers, desktop computers and peripheral products. The PCBs for consumer electronics are used in liquid crystal display televisions, digital cameras and game consoles. The Company is also engaged in the provision of surface mounting technology (SMT) services. The Company operates within the domestic market and to overseas markets, including the United States, Asia and Europe.
