THORNTON, Colo. (AP) — THORNTON, Colo. (AP) — Concrete Pumping Holdings, Inc. (BBCP) on Thursday reported a fiscal first-quarter loss of $3.8 million, after reporting a profit in the same period a year earlier.

The Thornton, Colorado-based company said it had a loss of 8 cents per share. Losses, adjusted for non-recurring costs, were 2 cents per share.

The results missed Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of three analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 3 cents per share.

The company posted revenue of $97.7 million in the period.

Concrete Pumping expects full-year revenue in the range of $460 million to $480 million.

Concrete Pumping shares have climbed slightly since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Thursday, shares hit $8.21, a rise of almost 6% in the last 12 months.
