CARY, N.C. (AP) _ Cornerstone Building Brands, In (CNR) on Wednesday reported fourth-quarter net income of $1.9 million.

On a per-share basis, the Cary, North Carolina-based company said it had net income of 1 cent. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs, were 6 cents per share.

The maker of products used in commercial buildings posted revenue of $1.19 billion in the period.

For the year, the company reported that its loss widened to $482.8 million, or $3.84 per share. Revenue was reported as $4.62 billion.

Cornerstone shares have risen 24% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, shares hit $11.50, a climb of 57% in the last 12 months.
