Now in its fourth year, the Social Value Awards aims to recognise organisations who champion social value creation and community wellbeing, and at Countryside, we are very pleased to have been shortlisted in the Private Sector Leadership category.

As a Home Builders Federation approved five-star housebuilder, we are renowned for our continued focus on social value, alongside our Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) efforts, whilst working closely with our partners, investors, land owners, housing associations, government bodies and the communities in which we work to develop places people love.

This award is dedicated to private sector organisations that has led the way in embedding social value into the business culture via processes, systems, and their people to ensure the needs of their customers and the communities where they work are being met. With placemaking at the heart of everything we do, building communities and the infrastructure they require is integral to create a sense of place that delivers long-term value for our stakeholders. Always aligned to the needs of our partners, we provide high-quality sustainable homes at pace and scale, which are designed to maximise socio-economic value and community wellbeing.

Social value is an important and useful way to measure the positive social and environmental impact created by our work. We stay committed to generating 30% in social value through our operations every year. For Countryside to achieve this commitment, we will continue to work closely with our local stakeholders and partners to ensure that developments offer amenities and community initiatives that really respond to the local needs and create the right impacts.

This timely recognition is a testament to our efforts at Countryside in driving our social value efforts within our business as well as within the construction industry. Many congratulations to our teams, our coveted partners, and our networks whose collaborative efforts are having a huge impact.

We look forward to the awards ceremony at the National Social Value Conference on 27th April 2022.
