Countrywide Residential Development, formally known as Countrywide Land & New Homes, has today announced a new focus along with several major new appointments.

With a record 5,500 new homes sold last year and specialist businesses such as Greene & Co., Preston Bennett, Lanes New Homes and ikon consultancy now part of the group; the business has further invested in its team to ensure the entire new homes industry is properly supported at every stage.

Several individuals who have led these companies will take on senior roles to help enhance the group's planning, land and consultancy offerings. The London based team will also benefit from a renewed focus with two senior appointments.

Sue Fisher - Head of Residential Development, Greater London

Sue Fisher brings over 20 years' experience having led North London and Herefordshire based Preston Bennett and will take on a senior role leading the Greater London team.

Matthew Haycox - Head of Residential Development, Central London

Matthew Haycox, formally Director at Hamptons International, will head up the Central London team.

Richard Henley - Group Planning & Land Director

Chartered town planner Richard Henley will take on a new position as Group Planning & Land Director expanding the role he has heldat Preston Bennett for the last 14 years.

Nick Cook - Group Consultancy Director

Nick Cook of specialist consultancy ikon also takes on the position of Group Consultancy Director, heading up the group's support of local authorities and housing associations.
