Laboratory Recognized For Meeting Highest International Quality Standards



Princeton, N.J., March 6, 2013 - Covance Inc. (NYSE: CVD), a market leader in nutritional testing and food safety, announced today that the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) awarded 17025 accreditation to its contaminant testing laboratory in Greenfield, Ind.

Granted by the American Association for Laboratory Accreditation, ISO accreditation confirms compliance with AOAC INTERNATIONAL guidelines for laboratories performing contaminant analyses of food and pharmaceuticals.

This milestone follows successful ISO 17025 accreditation of the company's laboratories in Monona, Wis. (2012), Battle Creek, Mich. (2011), Madison, Wis.
