Crown Cement PLC reported earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended December 31, 2023. For the second quarter, the company reported sales was BDT 8,156.71 million compared to BDT 7,140.91 million a year ago. Revenue was BDT 7,111.94 million compared to BDT 6,228.31 million a year ago. Crown Cement PLC is a Bangladesh-based cement manufacturer. The Companyâs products include cement, ready mix concrete, and IZONIL. It offers cement products, such as Portland cement (PC), and Portland composite cement (PCC). The Company manufactures and supplies ready-mix concrete by RMC manufacturing plant equipped with 95 transit mixture trucks and 24 concrete pumps with two Boom Pump. Its IZONIL produces special construction materials, such as special plasters, waterproof cement materials, and innovatory construction materials. It also offers IZONIL PLUS, which is a waterproof dry mixture that creates a waterproof membrane after application while it stays breathable with a drying effect at the same time. IZONIL PLUS solutions to remove problems with water leakage, water proofing and dam proofing. Its projects include Padma Bridge, the International Cricket Stadium, Agartala Flyover, Rooppur Nuclear Power Plant and others.
