(Alliance News) - CY4Gate Spa announced Monday that it has signed two contracts worth a total of more than EUR600,000 for the execution of two research and innovation projects in the cyber security domain with a leading Italian high-tech company, operating both in Italy and abroad, for a duration of 12 months.

The scope of supply in the cyber security domain aims to identify new, future-generation technological solutions that can detect early signs of a potential attack and identify its nature and origin in real time on both IT and OT systems. The projects also extend to securing supply chains.

Emanuele Galtieri, CEO and General Manager of Cy4Gate Group said, "We have acquired an important project, as research and development initiatives such as these are the lifeblood for us to confirm ourselves in the industry as 'first movers' and to keep up with the rapid evolution of threats. In this way, we confirm our product-centric vocation and will continue to act to make these sophisticated technologies available and accessible to an increasingly broad market, that of the corporate world, which has a great need for them and to which our strategy devotes a specific focus."

CY4Gate's stock closed Friday in the green by 0.4 percent at EUR5.34 per share.
