Hydrogen cars owned by the Polsat Plus Group have driven one million kilometers. Zero carbon dioxide emissions and air purification capabilities are features of the vehicle that fit perfectly with the Group's environmental mission. Polsat Plus Group company PAK PCE will soon start producing green hydrogen in Konin, which will be supplied to hydrogen refueling stations. Stations from the Polsat Plus Group under the NESO brand are already operating in Warsaw and Rybnik, with plans to build more in several Polish cities. The Polsat Plus Group also manufactures NesoBus hydrogen buses at its factory in Świdnik, which are running in Rybnik, and more have been ordered by Chelm and Gdansk. The Polsat Plus Group already has more than 150 hydrogen electric cars - Toyota Mirai and Hyundai Nexo. The vehicles have driven their first million kilometers in recent days. Fully environmentally friendly cars are finding increasing use in the Polsat Plus Group's fleet. The vehicles are equipped with an innovative propulsion system based on hydrogen fuel cell technology, which emits no carbon dioxide or other harmful substances. Green hydrogen fuel is transformed into electricity in the fuel cell by combining hydrogen with oxygen. The only byproduct of green propulsion is steam. Not only do the vehicles emit no exhaust fumes, they also clean the air. The fuel cells of hydrogen cars need clean air to operate, so their propulsion system is equipped with a special catalytic filter. The fibers from which the filter is made capture pollutant particles, including sulfur dioxide, nitrogen oxides and PM 2.5. Thus, one million kilometers driven in hydrogen cars have provided as much as 470 million liters of purified air. Putting it figuratively - this is the amount of clean air that 100 people consume for a year. Replacing combustion cars in the Polsat Plus Group with hydrogen vehicles has also reduced carbon dioxide emissions into the atmosphere by 127 tons. That's the amount of CO2 5,000 trees would have to absorb for a year. The refueling process takes just a few minutes, after which you can drive more than 600 kilometers. There are currently two hydrogen stations in operation - in Warsaw and Rybnik, and more will be built soon. The Polsat Plus Group is committed to expanding the green hydrogen refueling infrastructure and is determined to continue this green initiative, contributing to the development of sustainable mobility.
