Daifuku and AFT Industries Conclude Partnership Agreement

Daifuku Co., Ltd. and Germany-based AFT Industries AG (AFT) concluded an agreement to form a business partnership aimed at leveraging the material handling expertise of both companies in the automotive industry. Daifuku and AFT will use this mutually beneficial business partnership as a way globally to open channels and secure growing demand and investment from automotive manufacturers for material handling systems. Specifically, both companies will collaborate on a project-by-project basis by leveraging AFT Industries’ European automotive customer base, product standards and technologies, and procurement knowledge and knowhow, and Daifuku’s extensive global network encompassing sales, production and service to increase the level of offerings to customers in the global automotive industry.
DAIFUKU CO., LTD. is a Japan-based company engaged in the manufacture and sale of material handling systems and equipment, as well as vehicle washers. The Company operates in five segments. The Daifuku segment is engaged in the manufacture and sale of material handling systems and equipment, as well as vehicle washers. The Contec segment is engaged in the manufacture and sale of industrial personal computer (PC), interface boards and others. The DNAHC segment is engaged in the manufacture and sale of material handling systems and equipment, baggage transportation systems used in airports in North America and other markets. The CFI segment is engaged in the provision of transfer system to Korean semiconductor manufacturer. The Daifuku Plusmore segment is engaged in the sale of vehicle washers and the provision of after-sales services in Japan.
