DIC FAMILY DAY 2023: INTERNAL STRENGTH – CONQUERING CHALLENGES

On December 23^rd, 2023, DIC Group's Trade Union simultaneously organized the 2023 family festival in Ba Ria - Vung Tau; Ha Nam and Vinh Phuc. With the theme "Internal strength - Conquering challenges", the event attracted 1,600 employees and relatives throughout the Group.

Opening speech at DIC Family Day 2023, Mr. Nguyen Thien Tuan - Chairman of DIC Group shared: "DIC Family Day is held annually, which is the identity of DIC Group culture. With a series of cohesive activities such as team building; cooking competition... The festival has become a spiritual entertainment playground, where families exchange to be closer to each other, creating a united and like-minded team to build DIC Group for sustainable development."

Mr. Nguyen Thien Tuan - Chairman of the Board of Directors of DIC Group gave the opening speech.

Following the program, instead of the gratitude of all employees, Mr. Nguyen Quang Tin - General Director of DIC Group presented the Chairman of the Board of Directors with a bouquet of fresh flowers. General Director Nguyen Quang Tin shared: "On behalf of all employees, I would like to express my gratitude to Mr. Nguyen Thien Tuan - Chairman of the Board of Directors for creating and leading DIC Group to develop sustainably over the past 3 decades, bringing good job opportunities and taking care of employees' welfare comprehensively".

General Director Nguyen Quang Tin presented a bouquet of flowers to Chairman of the Board of Directors Nguyen Thien Tuan as a token of gratitude from the workers.

The 3 main activities of DIC Family Day 2023 are: Beach teambuilding; cooking contest, decorating rice tray themed "DIC Family Meal" and Gala night themed "Internal strength - Conquering challenges". Not only bringing joy and laughter to employees after a year of enthusiastic work, but the activities also tighten the emotional bond in the entire DIC family.

Teambuilding on the beach is the opening activity for DIC Family Day 2023.

Balancing moves; Giant wheels; Protect the result; Companion Stepbeat; Conquer yourself... are all competitive games with rich and diverse content, requiring strong solidarity, ingenuity and flexibility of DIC members. Teamwork is raised and becomes the greatest value that members get from the collective game.

The cooking contest, decorating the rice tray with the theme "DIC Family Meal" demonstrates the humanistic meaning of the value of family meals in modern life. This is also an opportunity for DIC members to show their skills in cooking. With careful preparation, within 120 minutes, the teams completed a meaningful family rice tray with many attractive dishes, elaborately processed, beautifully presented, meeting the requirements of the Organizing Committee. At the Gala night, the Organizing Committee announced and awarded the best rice trays.

The karaoke performances from DIC voices and voices closed the Gala night "Strong internal strength - Conquering challenges" in a happy and bustling atmosphere.

DIC Family Day 2023 has been successfully held at 3 locations: Ba Ria - Vung Tau; Ha Nam and Vinh Phuc, attracted more than 1,600 employees and relatives from the whole Group. The festival really becomes the hallmark and cultural identity of the DIC family, honoring the spirit of solidarity - the internal strength that drives businesses to develop.
