The diversity of the work community - everyone's freedom to be themselves - is at the core of what kind of everyday life we build and value at Digia. We believe that we can continuously learn more about each other's integration and appreciating culture.

As Digian Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) actions this year, we have conducted, among other things, a survey on equality and non-discrimination among our personnel, on the basis of which we will update the equality and non-discrimination plan. In addition, we have arranged trainings for inclusive management and the identification of subliminal prejudices in everyday life.

During Pride Week, we pay special attention to sexual and gender minorities, and remind everyone to pay attention to different people in everyday life. Collegial support and discussion can be found at the LGBTQ+ meeting of Helsinki Pride Week for digians.

'At Digia, we want to highlight the importance of everyone being able to be relaxed in the workplace. We do not condone any form of discrimination or harassment. Voiced support for sexual and gender minorities is also a natural part of our diversity and responsibility work. Our work community is stronger when everyone can make their voices heard,' says Pia Huhdanmäki, SVP of Human Resources and Culture.

The diversity of personnel is part of Digia's corporate responsibility. Read more about responsibility at Digia here.
