DOLAN LLC The Dolan Company Announces New Business Information Structure
MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. (August 28, 2014) - The Dolan Company announced that they have reorganized the business information corporate structure effective August 28, 2014. The new structure will be organized geographically, with regional vice presidents being responsible for the newly formed eastern and western regions. These steps will assist in streamlining decision making and create efficiencies in operations.
Joni Brooks has joined the company in the role of regional vice president for the western region and publisher of The Journal Record, based in Oklahoma City, OK. Prior to joining the company, Brooks served as publisher of the Yuma Sun in Yuma, AZ. Previously, she worked as publisher of The Seneca Daily Journal and Messenger in Seneca, SC. Brooks will report directly to CEO Mark McEachen.
Al Frattura has joined the company in the role of regional vice president for the eastern region and publisher of the Finance & Commerce operations and related publications, based in Minneapolis, MN. Prior to joining The Dolan Company, Frattura was publisher of the Daily Press and Desert Dispatch under the ownership of New Media Investment Group. He had served previously as vice president of Freedom Communication's Pacific Region and publisher of The Sun in Yuma, AZ. Frattura will also report directly to McEachen.
Frank Jalufka and Terri Nelson have been hired as regional CFO's for the two newly formed regions, where they will take on forecasting and trend and various analysis for the operations in their respective regions. Both Jalufka and Nelson will be based in Minneapolis, MN. Jalufka comes to The Dolan Company with a strong financial planning and analysis background, working most recently as vice president of enterprise finance at Freedom Communications and previously as vice president of finance at Swell. Nelson recently left her position as chief financial officer for Victor International - BVI, which she joined after working as vice president of finance for Freedom Communications newspaper division.
Bill Cummings has been appointed vice president of sales and marketing. In this newly created position, Cummings is responsible for driving revenue growth through the company's operations. Cummings' previous experience includes time with Gannett as director of advertising as well
