UPDATE: DEFLECTOR GOLD COPPER MINE

Doray Minerals Limited ("Doray" or "the Company") (ASX: DRM) provides an update on the Company's Deflector Gold

Copper Mine, following a fire yesterday morning involving a remotely controlled underground loader.

Underground operations at Deflector which were temporarily halted following the incident are expected to resume shortly pending confirmation that no further hazards exist.

Managing Director Leigh Junk said a standard re-entry was being undertaken at the mine today, to confirm that there are no impediments for the safe resumption of mining activity.

"Our first priority is the safety of our people. We won't resume mining until the workplace has been confirmed safe.

This said, we expect mining operations to recommence without significant delay" he said.

"I would like to pay tribute to everyone involved for their composed response to the incident yesterday. Their quick and measured actions are testimony to an entrenched safety culture, which ensured no injuries were suffered as a result."

Mr Junk confirmed the temporary interruption to underground mining was not expected to affect production guidance at the mine, which is continuing to process stockpiled ore.
