The Board of Directors of Duxton Farms Limited announced two changes to its composition in the form of one appointment to and one resignation from the Board, both effective 29 September 2023. Firstly, the Board of Directors announced the appointment of Mr. Paul Burke as an Independent Non-Executive Director. Mr. Burke, who is based in the Northern Territory, brings over 25 years of management experience across a number of sectors to his role as a Director, having recently served as Chief Executive Officer of the Northern Territory Farmers Association and the Director of Infrastructure Assets and Major Projects in the Northern Territory Department of Primary Industries and Resources. Mr. Burke brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the Board concerning agribusiness generally but is particularly well-acquainted with the business and regulatory environment in the Northern Territory; his appointment is a demonstration of the Company's commitment to becoming an active participant in the expansion and development of the agricultural economy in Northern Australia. Secondly, the board of Directors announced that Dr. Amanda Rischbieth AM has resigned from her role as an Independent Non-Executive Director of Duxton Farms. Dr. Rischbieth has been an active and integral member of the Board for the past three years, with her work as Chair of the ESG Subcommittee having seen her champion many initiatives which have brought Duxton Farms forward by leaps and bounds when it comes to sustainability performance and reporting. Dr. Rischbieth departs from the Board to focus on her work as Chair of the National Blood Authority
and additional commitments.
