Dynasty Ceramic Public Company Limited reported consolidated earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2016. For the quarter, on consolidated basis, total revenues were THB 1,605 million, which increased by THB 50 million, or 3% year-on-year. Profit before income tax was THB 396,634,000 compared to THB 349,556,000 a year ago. Allocation of profit for the period to the portion of the company's shareholders was THB 316,444,000 compared to THB 275,127,000 a year ago. The basic earnings per share was THB 0.048 million, or THB 0.042 per share.
For the nine months, on consolidated basis, the performance period for the nine months of the year 2016 ended September 30, 2016 with a total sales THB 5,496 million, increased THB 86 million or 2%. The company's gross profit was 43%, which was higher than the same period of the previous year at 42%. The net profit on equity holders of the company was THB 1,115 million or THB 0.171 per share increased from last year THB 89 million or 9%. Allocation of profit for the period to the portion of the company's shareholders was THB 296,777,000 compared to THB 277,196,000 a year ago. The basic earnings per share was THB 0.045 million, or THB 0.042 per share.
For the nine months, on standalone basis, the company reported total revenue of THB 5,495,839,000 compared to THB 5,409,870,000 a year ago. Profit before income tax was THB 1,368,313,000 compared to THB 1,222,411,000 a year ago. Allocation of profit for the period to the portion of the company's shareholders was THB 1,094,099,000 compared to THB 975,850,000 a year ago. The basic earnings per share was THB 0.168 compared to THB 0.149 per share a year ago.
Dynasty Ceramic Public Company Limited is a Thailand-based company, which is principally engaged in the manufacturing and selling of ceramic wall and floor tiles, together with space rental and providing utilities service. The Company purchases the ceramic floor, wall and Tile grout from Tile Top Industry Public Co., Ltd., which is a subsidiary of the Company. The Company also purchases the ceramic floor and wall from The Royal Ceramic Industry Public Co., Ltd., which is a subsidiary of the Company. The Company orders other related products, such as Tile grout, Tile adhesive, Corner-trim for sale. The ceramic tiles produced by the Company and its subsidiaries comprise under the trademark Dynasty, Tile Top, Jaguar, Value, Mustang, Chicken, Birdie, Ducky, Swan, M, Cosmo and RCI. It distributes tiles through outlets, more than 200 outlets, which are its outlets. It owns one factory and other three factories of subsidiary company is located in Nong Khae district, Saraburi province.
