Eastern Cables Limited is a Bangladesh-based company, which is primarily engaged in the production and sale of electric cables. The Company provides domestic cables, low tension (LT) cables, and high tension (HT) cables. The Company's products include polyvinyl chloride (PVC) insulated and PVC sheathed single and multi-core tension domestic cable with copper (Cu) conductor; power cables both LT and HT, including armored and screened cables, with Cu conductor having continuous permissible grade approximately one kilovolt (kV) for LT and over 12KV for HT, and different sizes of bare and insulated all aluminum conductor (AAC) and aluminum conductor steel re-inforced (ACSR). The Company also produces control cables and flame retardant (FR) cables. The Company has an installed capacity of 7,300 metric tons (MT) per year. It is a subsidiary of Bangladesh Steel & Engineering Corporation. Its factory is located at Patenga, Chittagong in Bangladesh.
