EATON VANCE TAX-ADVANTAGED GLOBAL DIVIDEND OPPORTUNITIES FUND BOSTON, Nov. 3, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Eaton Vance Tax-Advantaged Global Dividend Opportunities Fund (NYSE: ETO), a diversified closed-end management investment company, today announced the earnings of the Fund for the three and nine months ended July 31, 2014. The Fund's fiscal year ends on October 31, 2014.
For the three months ended July 31, 2014, the Fund had net investment income of $3,289,553 ($0.227 per share). For the nine months ended July 31, 2014, the Fund had net investment income of $20,618,061 ($1.420 per share). In comparison, for the three months ended July 31, 2013, the Fund had net investment income of $9,711,304 ($0.669 per share). For the nine months ended July 31, 2013, the Fund had net investment income of $20,303,308 ($1.399 per share).
Net realized and unrealized gains for the three months ended July 31, 2014 were $2,566,362 ($0.183 per share) and net realized and unrealized gains for the nine months ended July 31, 2014 were $14,797,193 ($1.019 per share). In comparison, net realized and unrealized losses for the three months ended July 31, 2013 were $4,788,059 ($0.329 per share) and net realized and unrealized gains for the nine months ended July 31, 2013 were $32,568,404 ($2.243 per share).
On July 31, 2014, net assets of the Fund were $383,986,598. The net asset value per share on July 31, 2014 was $26.45 based on 14,519,257 shares outstanding.
