NPO ELSIB PAO, formerly ELSIB NPO OAO (Nauchno-proizvodsvennoye obyedineniye ELSIB OAO or ELSIB Research and Production Association OJSC) is a Russia-based company involved in the research, production and design of electric generators and large machines for metallurgy. The Company's product mix includes turbo and hydro generators, asynchronous motors, frequency converters, and electric machinery such as electromechanical steering-wheel amplifier, vibroseismic equipment, pile-driving electromagnetic hammer and wind power plant. ELSIB NPO OAO sells its products domestically to customers involved in such industries as oil and gas, chemical, electric and thermal power transportation, coal, metallurgy and others. The Company operates through two subsidiaries: Elsib-U OOO and Energetik OOO. As of December 11, 2010, the Company's major shareholder was Blackville Investments Limited with a stake of 19.26%.
