Embelton Limited announced consolidated earnings results for the year ended June 30, 2017. For the period the company announced revenue of AUD 44,842,000 compared to AUD 44,018,000 a year ago. Profit before tax was AUD 3,306,000 compared to AUD 2,911,000 a year ago. Profit after tax was AUD 2,201,000 compared to AUD 2,025,000 a year ago. Net profit for the period attributable to members was AUD 2,201,000 compared to AUD 2,025,000 a year ago. Basic and diluted earnings per share was 102 cents compared to 94 cents a year ago. Net operating cash out flows was AUD 1,330,000 compared inflow of AUD 3,233,000 a year ago. Payment for purchases of property, plant and equipment was AUD 904,000 compared to AUD 3,256,000 a year ago. Total operating revenue was AUD 49,025,000. Total external operating revenue was AUD 44,173,000. Total operating profit before income tax was ADU 3,317,000.
Embelton Limited is a wholesale distributor of flooring and other products. The Company's principal activities consist of manufacture and distribution of flooring products, structural noise and vibration control systems, metal fabrication, rubber and cork sheeting, and other industrial products. The Companyâs segments include Commercial, Merchandising and Manufacturing. Commercial segment comprises the supply and installation of various building materials and installation on commercial projects. Merchandising segment comprises the sale of various building materials into all other sectors. Manufacturing segment is engaged in manufacturing operations supply to both market segments. Its flooring and consumer products include timber, bamboo, hybrid, laminate, adhesives and finishes, among others. Its industrial and construction products include structural noise and vibration isolation systems, anti-vibration mountings - springs and rubber, recycled and natural rubber sheets, among others.
