Enersense has won Fingrid's public bidding process to build three new 110 kV substations in the Harjavalta area. The substations will be built as gas insulated switchgear (GIS) using a gas insulation solution that does not contain any SF6 gas which is a significant greenhouse gas. The project will continue until the summer of 2027.

The value of the contract is roughly EUR 20 million which will be recognised in the order books of the Power business area for the first quarter of 2024. The project is significant for Enersense. The contract agreement will be signed after the appeal period laid down in the Act on Public Procurement and Concession Contracts.
