For the six months, the company reported operating loss of $315,000 against $734,000 a year ago. Net loss was $387,000 against $746,000 a year ago. Basic and diluted loss per share was $0.01 against $0.02 a year ago. The decrease in the net loss for the three and six months ended June 30, 2014 compared to the same periods in the prior year was mainly due to the reduction in workforce in the second quarter of 2012 which resulted in lower operating costs and the maintenance on only minimal operations. Revenues in the current year were negatively affected by uncertainty over the company's ability to continue operations after restructuring in June 2012, which reduced capacity to pursue new business.  The decrease in revenue for the three and six months ended June 30, 2014 compared to the same period in 2013 was mainly due to inability to sustain production in 2014. Revenues in the first six months of 2013 were mainly attributed to shipments to First Auto Works in China and the Smith Electric Vehicles in the U.S. Net cash used in operating activities was $227,000 against $50,000 a year ago.
