Ethan Allen Interiors Inc. Announces Executive Changes

On April 16, 2019, John S. Bedford II retired from Ethan Allen Interiors Inc. and ceased to serve in the role of Vice President, Corporate Controller and Principal Accounting Officer. Upon the retirement of Mr. Bedford on April 16, 2019, Ethan Allen appointed Matthew J. McNulty as the Company’s Vice President, Corporate Controller and Principal Accounting Officer. Mr. McNulty will report directly to Corey Whitely, Executive Vice President, Administration, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer. Mr. McNulty joined Ethan Allen in February 2019 as Vice President, Corporate Controller. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. McNulty was the Senior Vice President, Controller and Principal Accounting Officer of FactSet Research Systems Inc. where he led the global accounting and finance teams from November 2005 until February 2019. Mr. McNulty began his career in public accounting at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP and worked in their assurance practice as an auditor from 2000 until 2005.
Ethan Allen Interiors Inc. is an interior design company, which is a manufacturer and retailer in the home furnishings marketplace. The Company operates through two segments: wholesale and retail. The wholesale segment is involved in the development of the Ethan Allen brand and encompasses all aspects of design, manufacturing, sourcing, marketing, sale, and distribution of the Companyâs broad range of home furnishings and accents. The retail segment sells home furnishings and accents to clients through a network of 139 Company-operated design centers. The Company operates approximately 139 retail design centers with 135 located in the United States and four in Canada. The Company also owns and operates ten manufacturing facilities, including four manufacturing plants, one sawmill, one rough mill and one kiln dry lumberyard in the United States, two manufacturing plants in Mexico and one manufacturing plant in Honduras.
