Ever-Glory International Group, Inc. reported earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended June 30, 2022. For the second quarter, the company reported sales was USD 63.81 million compared to USD 60.56 million a year ago. Net income was USD 2.4 million compared to net loss of USD 1.77 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 0.16 compared to basic loss per share from continuing operations of USD 0.12 a year ago.
For the six months, sales was USD 128.59 million compared to USD 131.37 million a year ago. Net loss was USD 2.69 million compared to USD 2.94 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was USD 0.18 compared to USD 0.2 a year ago.
Ever-Glory International Grou, Inc is a China-based company mainly engaged in retailing of branded fashion apparel and providing global apparel supply chain solution. The Company mainly operates through two segments. The Wholesale segment is mainly engaged in wholesale-channel sales made principally to domestically and internationally recognized brands, and department stores located throughout Europe, the U.S., Japan and the People's Republic of China (PRC). The segment focus on well-known, middle-to-high end casual wear, sportswear, and outerwear brands. The Retail segment is mainly engaged in retail-channel sales directly to consumers through retail stores located throughout the PRC as well as sales via online stores at Tmall, Dangdang mall, JD.com, VIP.com and others.
