05 February 2013 HIGH-GRADE MINERALISATION INTERSECTED FROM DRILLING ON KABOTSHOME PROSPECT, MANIEMA PROJECT, DRC  Significant results from the first three holes of the latest programme include: o KBD08: 20m @ 1.85g/t Au from 149m including 6m @ 4.03g/t Au o KBD09: 5.13m @ 5.66g/t Au from 102.87m

o KBD10: 4.85m @ 24.8g/t Au from 129m

 Diamond drilling programme completed on the Kabotshome Prospect, DRC
 Results of remaining four holes expected during Q1 2013
Erongo Energy Limited (ASX: ERN) (the "Company") is pleased to announce the latest results from three diamond drill holes completed on its Kabotshome Prospect, at the Maniema Gold Project ("Maniema Project') in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).
The programme of seven holes for 1,332m tested grade and width over 800m of the mineralised structure on fences drilled 100m apart. The drill holes were drilled deeper than planned due to intersecting extensive shearing.
This drilling follows previous programmes where significant mineralisation was intersected and previous results included:
 KBD01: 25m @ 2.17 g/t Au from 74m including 7.25m @ 4.89 g/t Au
 KBD02: 16.65m at 2.02g/t from 33.5m including 5.5m at 4.97g/t
 KBD03: 18m at 2.03g/t from 68m including 4m at 6.38g/t
 KBD06: 20.35m @ 1.63 g/t Au (from 54m) including 11m @ 2.45 g/t Au
 KBD07: 20.25m @ 2.5g/t Au (from 319m) including 8m @ 4.03g/t Au and 21.7m @

3.58g/t Au (from 354m) including 5.7m @ 8.74g/t Au

Latest drilling results from the three holes are shown in Table 1 and Figures 1 and 2. Best intersections included 20m @ 1.85g/t Au from 149m including 6m @ 4.03g/t Au in KBD08 which targeted high grade mineralisation at shallower depths similar to that intercepted in KBD07 (refer above).
Hole KBD09 drilled 100m to the north reported a high grade intercept of 5.13m @ 5.66g/t Au from 102.87m while the northernmost hole, KBD10 reported 4.85m @ 24.8g/t Au from 129m including 1m @ 118.5g/t Au from a quartz breccia with strong magnetite and jasper mineralisation.

1

Results from the remaining four holes are expected during the March 2013 quarter after which the Company will assess all drilling data received for the Kabotshome Prospect and plan future work programmes at Maniema. The Company will also assess the mineralised potential of all additional targets identified previously on the Maniema Project.
